It is what drew me to the monitor, otherwise I would pump more into quality. I followed all of their instructions meticulously, so hopefully that will pan out. Looks good to me! Overall, if it lasts at least two years and Asus gives me the rebate, I will be satisfied. Lots of great real estate compared to what I had. But they're more than what I would normally spend, because I am poor and cheap. Albeit, these are not expensive by any means. It has really bright and beautiful colors, but then again, i am used to the cheapest monitors I could afford. I'm used to my little 20 monitor, and this thing makes that look tiny! I am looking forward to watching some HD movies and videos on it. It's a really good looking picture quality. Or at least that's what my computer says the display is. The good news- It is the monitor they claim. I ensured that I did put the base on right. I guess my desk isn't the most sturdy in the world, but my other monitor doesn't wobble. Show More ws point.as I type, this thing is a little wobbly. Nobody needs to know if it is HDMI-ready but me, in my opinion. I feel like it's like when car manufacturers have to say z-71 or eco-boost or junk like that on their cars. I looked specifically for a monitor that did not have that label. Also, the monitor has a 'HDMI' label on the lower left side. Okay, the bad news first- The base of mine did not have that 'carbon fiber' look to it.
